Weight Loss

Medication-supported, lifestyle-driven.

Our medical weight loss program combines FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, plant-forward nutrition, and behavior-change support under continuous physician supervision. It is for patients who want a coordinated, evidence-based path rather than a prescription alone. The program is coordinated through concierge membership and priced separately based on medication and duration.

A comprehensive program combining GLP-1 medications and plant-based nutrition under continuous physician supervision.

Program overview

Multi-component care, not a prescription pad.

Effective medical weight management is rarely a single intervention. It is a coordinated program: medical evaluation to understand what is actually driving the weight, medication when appropriate, dietitian support, lifestyle medicine, behavior change support, and ongoing concierge follow-up to adjust the plan as the patient changes.

The practice's program brings all of these into one coordinated path. Members do not have to assemble their own care from a patchwork of providers — the integration is the program.

Program structure

  1. 1. Initial consultation and comprehensive evaluation
  2. 2. Bloodwork and metabolic panel
  3. 3. Personalized program design — medication, dietitian plan, lifestyle integration
  4. 4. Medication initiation and titration with continuous physician oversight
  5. 5. Concierge follow-up cadence — frequent enough to actually adjust the plan
  6. 6. Long-term maintenance and lifestyle integration
Medications offered

GLP-1 and adjunct pharmacotherapy.

The medication landscape for weight management has changed dramatically over the past several years. The GLP-1 receptor agonists (and more recently dual-action GLP-1/GIP agonists) have produced outcomes that are not comparable to anything previously available. The practice's program offers the full range of FDA-approved options, prescribed under physician supervision with appropriate candidacy assessment.

Wegovy

Semaglutide · FDA-approved for weight management

Once-weekly injection. Approved for chronic weight management in adults with obesity or overweight with weight-related comorbidities.

Ozempic

Semaglutide · FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes

Same active ingredient as Wegovy at lower dosing. Used off-label for weight management when clinically appropriate.

Mounjaro

Tirzepatide · FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes

Dual-action GLP-1/GIP agonist. Used off-label for weight management with strong outcome data.

Zepbound

Tirzepatide · FDA-approved for weight management

The on-label weight management formulation of tirzepatide. Currently producing the strongest single-agent weight loss outcomes available.

Qsymia

Phentermine + topiramate · FDA-approved

Combination oral therapy. An alternative for patients who are not candidates for GLP-1 therapy or who prefer non-injectable options.

Phentermine

FDA-approved · Short-term use

Long-established appetite suppressant. Used in shorter cycles, often as part of a combined approach.

Metformin

Adjunct · Insulin sensitization

Used adjunctively in patients with insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, or as part of a metabolic protocol.

All weight-management medications are prescribed under physician supervision after appropriate candidacy assessment. Side effects, contraindications, and monitoring requirements are reviewed at every consultation.

Nutrition & lifestyle

The other half of the equation.

Medication and procedures change the underlying physiology. They do not rewrite the rest of life. The practice's program integrates registered dietitian counseling, plant-based nutrition protocols, behavior change support, and lifestyle medicine as integral components of every member's plan — not as separate appointments to chase down independently.

  • Plant-based nutrition as the foundational approach
  • Registered dietitian sessions integrated into the program
  • Behavior change coaching through the practice
  • Long-term sustainability focus — programs designed to outlast the medication phase
  • Coordinated mental health support when food behavior or body image is part of the picture
Insurance & pricing

Coverage and program structure.

This program accepts both insurance billing and cash-pay concurrently — we are a hybrid practice. GLP-1 medication coverage varies dramatically by plan, plan year, and the specific medication; insurance verification happens during the consultation, and members preferring cash-pay are welcomed equally.

The medical weight loss program is priced separately from concierge membership — members receive coordinated access to the program but the program itself carries its own cost structure based on medication selection and program duration.
